TBFactory workshop now opens in Padasjoki 150 kilometers north of Helsinki.

You are very welcome to visit our Teddy Bear Making Workshop. Here we make oldfashioned teddies out of real Schulte Original Mohair with our own design and label. Our teddies are filled with excelsior (oldfashioned wood shavings) They have German glasseyes and musicbox or growler inside. Their legs, hands and head move by assembling joints of the paperboard discs with metal washers and metal splints. You are also welcome to join our teddybear making classes!

The fee is Eur 70 plus the materials starting Eur 30. You can come to make
the teddy as many times as you have finished your bear. Usually it takes
16 hours to make a handmade bear. A part of the work can be made at home.

The courses are held in ENGLISH. (in Finnish for the finnish speaking)

WELCOME

Teddy Bear Factory is a sole distributor of 100% Schulte Mohair Fabrics in Finland. We also import exclusively many other high quality materials and instruments needed in making old fashioned teddies with joints, crawlers and glas eyes.

Teddy Bear Factory organises teddy bear making courses with our own teddy models for hobbiest and handcraft professionals in our Training Center Cottage or in any other location like in institutes or schools most convenient for participants. We prepare training of handcraft teachers and students all around Finland. After training they are entitled to continue training courses in their areas with our concept and models. Teddy Bear Factory sells materials as a whole sale and retail dealer. To the Teddy makers, the handcraft shops, the handcraft teachers and schools, professional institutes and so on. Teddy Bear Factory organises professional visits and study tours to teddy museums and exhibitions in Finland and abroad. We also participate in the exhibitions and fairs in Finland and we organise our own special teddy exhibitions in order to promote teddy bear making as a hobby.
